EXHIBITOR APPLICATIONS
Excitement can occur when artists come together to support one another in a friendly, stimulating environment they can exchange ideas, experiment, theorize, and grow.
Since 2016 there has been one art café in the New London area. This group of 12+ artists meets regularly to discuss works in progress. We share information & ideas, discuss techniques, & support one another. Our forms of art are varied but we have become a close community.
Interested? Ask us about starting a new ART CAFÉ!

Welcoming New Members!
A friendly group of area photographers getting together to share our common interest in photography and photographic art.
Who we are: The Center for the Arts (CFA) Photography Café
was established in 2019 as a venue for those interested in
photography to share their knowledge and advance their
craft through regular get-togethers, whether in person or virtually.
When/where we meet:
The group meets on the second Thursday of each month starting at 6 p.m., either at the Tracy Library in New London, virtually via Zoom, at some location for photo shoots or at one of the member’s homes (to be
announced well in advance). Occasionally, members meet at other times and locations, for example, for photo walks when we want to explore new areas conducive to picture-taking.
What we do: While one can learn a lot about photography by watching on-line videos (ie. You Tube, etc.) and attending classes and workshops, meeting regularly with like-minded photographers gives everyone an
ongoing outlet for their questions about any aspect of photography. We all learn from each other in an informal and friendly setting. During our regular meetings, group members share some of their recent work and offer it up for discussion. Often, we work together on special “challenges,” such as shooting in black and white, creating “minimalist” images, setting up and photographing still lifes, seasonal images, etc. We talk about composition, matting and framing, upcoming exhibit opportunities, photography equipment, software, printing, etc. The goal is to keep learning, keep sharing, and enjoying the company of others with similar interests. Venues for shows and sales: As a member of the CFA and the Photography Café, many opportunities are available to exhibit and sell your work, through the many “micro galleries,” annual member shows and other venues, such as the popular “Naturally New England Show” at Sunapee Harbor and annual Arts on the Green.
What’s the cost: Membership in the Photography Café is free of charge to current members of the Center for the Arts.
How to get involved: If interested in joining or if you want more information, contact Jay Fitzpatrick by
email: jall@tds.net, or call (603) 455-6595. Regular emails are sent to those interested in advance of upcoming meetings.
Your membership helps to support and encourage the artist community as a whole in the Lake Sunapee Region.
An Artist can join the Center for the Arts at any level and enjoy the benefits of that level.
After joining, you automatically qualify to be listed on our Artist Links Page with your image, link, and contact information. Simply send your image, link, and contact info to info@cfanh.org
