Gordon lives in New London with his wife of 48 years and his English setter. He received his history degree from SUNY at Albany along with a graduate degree in Education. He taught, coached, and was Headmaster at private schools in North Palm Beach and Nashville for 35 years. When Covid struck in March of 2020, Gordon headed to the music store in Concord and bought a Martin guitar, amplifier, and mic. From that point on he played and wrote music everyday. It was soon after that he began to share his love for music publicly at farmers markets and open mics. Since then he has played at the Fells, Peter Christians, the Millstone, the Livery, the Old Courthouse, Big Fattys, Little Brothers, Sunapee Yacht Club, and Jesse’s Steakhouse. Gordon has recorded three albums which are on Spotify and Pandora under the name, “twigstrum.”
