Fierce Females Who Redefined Creativity

New London, NH – Looking for something fun and inspiring to do? Next month, dive into the fascinating world of female artists with "Fierce Females: Women in Art," a captivating program led by Jane Oneail. This program is in partnership with Tracy Memorial Library and will take place inside their vital community gathering space on March 7 at 6:30pm.

Throughout history, women have often been the subject of art, portrayed mainly as objects of beauty or desire. But what happens when women step behind the canvas as creators? This program looks at how women’s roles in art have evolved, then dives into the lives and works of groundbreaking female artists from the Renaissance to the twentieth century.

You’ll hear about the incredible stories and iconic works of artists like Artemisia Gentileschi, Mary Cassatt, and Frida Kahlo, whose bold creations continue to inspire and challenge us today. Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to celebrate the power of women in art!
